Preparation time: 20 minutes Baking time: 1 hour and 20 minutes Oven temperature: 150°C
Method:
- Pre-heat oven to 150°C.
- Cream together castor sugar, Golden Syrup and margarine.
- Add egg and beat until smooth.
- Add 1 cup of apple.
- In a separate bowl, sieve dry ingredients, then combine with creamed mixture adding milk and mix together.
- Pour into greased cake tin. Add extra apple over top.
- Add crumble topping and pat down gently.
- Bake at 150°C for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Topping Crumble:
Rub together the following ingredients: Coconut — ½ cup Margarine — 1 tablespoon Castor sugar — 1 tablespoon Cinnamon — 1/2 teaspoon
